Edmund Waller (left) heads clinical trials at Emory Winship Cancer Institute and once faced the decision of whether to have his son Anthony participate in a clinical trial. Anthony, diagnosed with leukemia at 16, now works in Emory's radiation oncology department. (This photo and caption originally appeared in Emory Health Magazine Spring 2009)
Dr. Waller continues to pursue cures through research and clinical trials and has graciously served as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of When Everyone Survives since its inception. We are proud of his dedication to our mutual quest and appreciative of his diligent efforts on our behalf and those of others in the fight against leukemia.
